Stacee received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Illinois State University and a master’s degree in psychology, along with a graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis, from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. During graduate school, Stacee completed an applied research project focused on providing multicultural training to ABA therapists. Stacee’s research and clinical interests include parent training, early intervention in ABA, and cultural adaptations in behavioral interventions. Stacee is also a 2019-2020 Illinois LEND trainee and plans to conduct research to improve equitable access to ABA and disability services in Illinois.
Stacee specializes in providing behavioral interventions to young children, parent training, creating environmental supports, conducting functional behavior assessments, alternative methods of communication, and culturally sensitive interventions. Stacee is passionate about working in the field of applied behavior analysis because of her experiences as a parent of a child with autism and her desire to help children with disabilities be included, valued, and respected for who they are. |
