Billie received her certification as a paraprofessional in 2007. She has worked as a 1:1 and a classroom assistant for the past 12 years. She is currently enrolled in RBT classes and pursuing RBT certification. She is also obtaining her CPR Instructors license to certify staff in CPR. Billie was awarded the “Unsung Hero Award” through the Bi-County Cooperative Foundation in 2019 for her contribution in the education of students with special needs.
Billie has worked with K-8 students. She has a strong desire to see all students have an opportunity to have the skills needed to be successful at whatever they choose to become. Billie enjoys seeing her students grow and learn.
In her free time, Billie enjoys making homemade furniture with her husband and spending time with her children and her granddaughter.
